Two men were shot — one in the face and one in the back — inside a Brooklyn bodega on Friday, cops said.
The victims, ages 24 and 26, were shot inside the deli on Flatbush Ave. near Newkirk Ave. in Flatbush around 2:47 p.m., said police.
The older victim was still inside the bodega with a gunshot wound to the back when police arrived, a law enforcement source said.
The other man attempted to reach a hospital by private means, but was intercepted at some point by paramedics, who stepped in to provide medical care, sources said.
Both men were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
Police are looking for a man with light complexion wearing a black puffy jacket, ripped blue jeans and black-and-white sneakers, who was last seen fleeing west on Newkirk Ave.
The United Bodegas Association has offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
