Pro-Palestine protesters rallied outside a synagogue in the New York metropolitan area on Thursday, January 8, to protest an event promoting real estate investments in Jerusalem.
Footage taken by Working Peoples Liberation Corps shows demonstrators chanting, “One, two, three, four, occupation no more,” followed by, “Five, six, seven, eight, Palestine will liberate.”
According to the group that organized the protest, PAL-Awda Long Island, the demonstration targeted an event in the Kew Gardens Hills neighborhood of Queens marketing real estate in Israel to Americans.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul condemned the protesters’ language, writing on X: “Hamas is a terrorist organization that calls for the genocide of Jews. No matter your political beliefs, this type of rhetoric is disgusting, it’s dangerous, and it has no place in New York.” Credit: Working Peoples Liberation Corps via Storyful
