Overnight from 1 to 5 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays starting Tuesday, Jan. 13 through Saturday, Jan. 31, depending on weather, NYCDOT will be closing a single lane in each direction on Old Fulton Street. During this time, the sidewalk on Old Fulton under the BQE will also be closed, and a protected 5-foot pedestrian path will be maintained. During the same timeframe, NYCDOT will close the right lane and shoulder on the Staten Island-bound BQE from Brooklyn Bridge to over Old Fulton Street.
These repairs “will ensure the safety and continued lifespan of this vital transportation artery,” according to a statement from NYCDOT.
