During this time, the sidewalk on Old Fulton under the BQE will also be closed, and a protected 5-foot pedestrian path will be maintained. During the same timeframe, NYCDOT will close the right lane and shoulder on the Staten Island-bound BQE from Brooklyn Bridge to over Old Fulton Street.

These repairs “will ensure the safety and continued lifespan of this vital transportation artery,” according to a statement from NYCDOT.
