SDNY

COURTHOUSE,
Jan 9 – Jadon Robinson was
shot and killed in broad
daylight in front of the Mis
Antojitos juice bar in
Soundview, The Bronx on March
9, 2021.

  On January
14, 2024 Alieu Jarjou on an
indictment for the murder was
presented in the U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrates Court, which Inner
City Press closely
covers.

  The
indictment, filed under seal
back in August, has Special
Sentencing Factors. Jarjou was
detained.

Jump cut to
September 10, 2025, when
Jarjou’s lawyer asked to push
a status conference from
December 4 to January 15, 2026
“due to the fact that the
parties remain engaged in
serious plea discussions.”

But on November
6, with trial set for May 4,
2026, defense counsel wrote in
moving Judge Ramos to suppress
photo identifications and
other evidence.

On January 9 the
US Attorney’s Office filed a
heavily redacted opposition to
the defendant’s pre-trial
motions, with whole pages
blacked out under the heading
“Discussion.”

  The case
is USA v. Jarjou, 1:24-cr-571
(Ramos)
