Pelham Art Center’s first exhibition of 2026, The Art of Practice, will feature a selection of diverse, forward-thinking artwork by its own teaching artists. This year’s Faculty Exhibition explores “practice” as both process and pedagogy, inviting viewers behind the scenes of how work is made, taught, and sustained.
This exhibition is presented in loving honor of the legacy of Donna Ross, a cherished Pelham Art Center faculty member whose practice continues to inspire.
The exhibition will be on display at Pelham Art Center from January 17-February 22, 2026. An Opening Reception will take place on Saturday, January 17 from 12-2 PM.

Boekman, Maria Campos, Jeanne Carreau, Elizabeth de Béthune, Frank Fanelli Jr., Helayne Friedland, Barbara Galazzo, Letizia Gentile, Sonika Gupta, Edgar Jerins, Barry L. Mason, Eleanor Grace Miller, Patricia Pardini, Donna Rose Ross, Ana Saura, Susan Saas, Sarah Shibah, Jen Silvester, and The Nerdy Duo.
Pelham Art Center’s faculty features accomplished artists as well as curators, collectors, entrepreneurs, scholars, and essential voices within our community. They have sparked creativity in thousands of students, including graduates of top fine arts programs and recipients of prestigious awards and apprenticeships. Since 1970, Pelham Art Center’s teaching artists have been dedicated to nurturing the creative potential of students at all levels.
