Brooklyn Beckham reportedly has a good reason for refusing to communicate with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, without his lawyers.

Insiders claimed to The Mirror that he’s doing it to protect his mental health as he’s allegedly been negatively affected by his mom and dad sharing pics of him on social media and tagging him in posts.

Brooklyn has been telling close friends that he would have appreciated reconciliation attempts being carried out “privately” and not in the public eye.

Another insider told the outlet that Brooklyn, 26, initially sent a legal letter to David, 50, and Victoria, 51, last summer because his “requests” for them “to stop” posting him were being disregarded.

“It had been leading to issues with his mental health … it was to protect himself,” the source claimed.

Despite receiving the letter, the situation allegedly escalated when Victoria “liked” one of her son’s photos.

Additionally, the “Wannabe” singer and David shared a throwback photo of Brooklyn over the Christmas holiday.

Brooklyn has since allegedly blocked his parents on social media, with one source adding that one of his main issues is that they still view him as a child.

Reps for Brooklyn, Victoria and David weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The latest update on the Beckham feud comes after the Daily Mail reported that Brooklyn and his parents had exchanged letters through their legal teams last summer.

According to the outlet, Brooklyn told the former soccer pro and the Spice Girl singer that he didn’t want them to post or speak about him on social media, stating that they should communicate with him solely through their lawyers.

The request reportedly stemmed from alleged conversations about his wife, Nicola Peltz, being controlling and holding him “hostage.”

“David was told to speak to them via [law firm] Schillings,” an insider alleged. “That was the only way for them to communicate.”

Moreover, recently, the Beckhams have taken their feud to social media, with Victoria and David’s son Cruz alleging that Brooklyn blocked them last month.

At the time, the 20-year-old was responding to reports claiming that his famous parents had removed Brooklyn from Instagram, writing, “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”

Brooklyn and Peltz reignited their feud with the Beckham clan when they opted out of attending David’s 50th birthday bash in May.

The former athlete and Victoria also didn’t attend the couple’s vow renewal ceremony in August.

Since then, it’s been reported that Brooklyn has “no interest” in making amends with his family and “is really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life” with his wife.
