EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 13, 2026) – Following a win at Saint Peter’s this past Saturday, Mount St. Mary’s women’s basketball heads back on the road in search of two straight wins at Manhattan.

MOUNT UPDATE

Amber Bullard tied her career high with 13 points in the win over the Peacocks. Gabrielle Kennerly had the most points with 14, and Jaedyn Jamison had the most rebounds with eight.
The victory marked the first time this season the Mount earned a win after trailing at halftime. It last happened against Manhattan on January 25 last year.
Mount also took the win despite committing more turnovers and shooting at a lower percentage. A big reason to counter was rebounding, won 34-25 by the Mountaineers. After Jamison’s eight came Bullard and Zaria Harleaux, each with seven.

SCOUTING THE JASPERS

Manhattan receives contributions from a deep roster, with four players averaging seven points or more and three earning five rebounds or more. Brianna Davis leads in scoring at 12.1 points per game, and Agar Farrés Garcia in rebounding with 7.6 per game.
The Jaspers are second in blocks in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), trailing only Merrimack. Colette Mulderig has the highest amount of rejections with 17.

THE MAAC PICTURE

Both the Mount and Manhattan stand tied for sixth place in the conference. Marist also is 3-3 on the season.

Wednesday marks the eighth meeting between Mount St. Mary’s and Manhattan. The Jaspers hold a 5-2 lead in the series.
Mount’s two wins came in a home MAAC game in 2024 and a road showdown in 2025.
