BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Subway lines are running with severe delays after a person was hit by a train in Brooklyn on Monday evening, according to the MTA.
The incident happened near the Myrtle Avenue station, the agency reported.
J and M trains are running with severe delays in both directions.
The MTA encourages commuters to consider the following travel alternatives:
For service between Myrtle Avenue and Broadway Junction, take a Q24 bus.
Transfer at Fulton Street to an A or C train to Broadway Junction for connecting J and Z service.
Transfer at 14 St-6 Av to an L train to Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs for connecting M service or to Broadway Junction for J service.
For service to the AirTrain to JFK Airport, take an E train to Sutphin Boulevard/Archer Av-JFK Airport, or an A train to Howard Beach-JFK Airport.
