THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for the man accused of attacking another man with a baseball bat in front of a Bronx deli last week.

It happened on Jan. 7, along East Tremont Avenue, around 9:30 a.m. Police said the 29-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect before the attack.

The suspect allegedly pulled out a baseball bat and whacked the victim several times in the face, according to authorities. Police said the suspect ran from the scene, and the victim was rushed to a local hospital for cuts.

The suspect last wore a green sweatshirt, white shirt, red pants, and black and white sneakers, according to authorities.
