STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Truck traffic is causing delays on the Goethals Bridge and the Staten Island Expressway Tuesday morning.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is reporting “heavy truck congestion” on the expressway at the exit for Forest and Gulf avenues about 10:30 a.m.
The exit is clogged with large trucks, according to surveillance camera footage available on 511NY.
Truck congestion has been an ongoing problem near the span, which leads to traffic snarls on access roads for the Staten Island Expressway.
