CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men’s Volleyball (0-3) returns to the Malkin Athletic Center for its 2025 home opener, hosting Manhattan University (0-1) in a two-match weekend series on Friday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 17 at 3:00 p.m. Both matches will stream live on ESPN+. The contests mark the Crimson’s first home appearances of the season.

What to Know


Harvard opened the season at the ASICS Invitational, falling to UC Irvine (3-0), CSUN (3-0), and UC Santa Barbara (3-0). 



Sophomore outside hitter Sawyer Nichols led the Crimson offensively with 30 kills across the three matches.



Junior Quinn Bishop recorded 18 kills over the opening weekend.



Senior co-captain Zach Berty added 15 kills for Harvard.



First-year Kai Gan made his collegiate debut at setter, appearing in nine of 10 total sets.



First-year Eric Su debuted as libero, playing six sets during the weekend.



First-year Oliver Doty saw action in three sets and tallied three service aces against CSUN.



The series marks the first-ever meeting between Harvard and Manhattan University.

Following the weekend series, the Crimson will remain at home to face Central State University (0-1) on Friday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m., streaming on ESPN+.
