1/13; 6:13 p.m. – Earlier today, in the course of removing a construction elevator, an incident occurred injuring five construction workers.
All five construction workers are conscious and have been taken to local hospitals. We are continuing to investigate what caused this to occur.
Multiple local emergency units responded to the scene and we are grateful for their quick response and support.

“We are aware of an incident that occurred earlier today at a construction site on our campus involving multiple injuries.
“Emergency responders are on the scene, and we are working closely with emergency personnel to support their response.
“We will provide additional information when it becomes available.”
Emergency crews are currently responding to an industrial accident at a construction site at Turning Stone in Verona.

VERONA, N.Y. — Emergency crews are currently responding to an industrial accident at a construction site at Turning Stone in Verona.
According to the 911 Center, the Verona Fire Department, Vineall Ambulance, Vernon Fire Department, Westmoreland Fire Department, Oneida County Emergency Services and New York State Police were called to Patrick Road on Tuesday just before 4 p.m.
Ambulances are lined up along the construction site at Turning Stone.Â
