Winter weather is coming back to Western New York in a major way. A couple of cold front is set to freeze and bring plenty of snow to the 716.

Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Western New York

Things will start out mild on Wednesday before the 1st of 2 cold fronts sweeps across the region. We will see temperatures start to drop in the late morning with rain moving into Western New York.

The 2nd cold front will change that rain into snow and help push temperatures into the teens with wind chills into the single digits.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Western New York. That advisory will start today across the region and last until Thursday afternoon. There could be up to 10 inches of snow in some parts of Western New York.

Travel this afternoon, and on Thursday morning commute could be impacted by this weather system. You can expect slick road conditions and possible white-out conditions due to the falling snow and blowing winds.
