Officers found a round white pill of oxycodone marked “230″ in Gomez’s right shoe, according to the criminal complaint, which was based on an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island.

“I have an oxy in my shoe,” the complaint alleges the defendant told police. He allegedly added that someone known to him “has a prescription for them.”

Gomez passed cocaine to customers from the balcony of his home on Victory Boulevard in October and November, the complaint alleges.

Gomez is accused of exchanging a green plastic capsule containing cocaine powder on one occasion and crack cocaine in a different transaction. Officers allege they recovered the stimulants from both buyers.

The defendant has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Gomez has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has been released with non-monetary conditions. He is due back in Criminal Court in St. George on Feb. 24, according to public records.

An attorney for the defendant did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
