MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A man’s Sunday arrest in Manhattan Beach was his seventh DUI arrest, police say.

The arrest marked the third DUI arrest for the driver in the last five months, the Manhattan Beach Police Department said, adding that the man was driving with a suspended license.

The driver was arrested on a DUI charge and for driving with a suspended license, according to police.

“His vehicle was impounded for 30 days,” police said.

Four other drivers were also arrested on DUI charges over the weekend, police said.

Two were first-time DUI offenders, while another driver had a recent DUI arrest, according to police.

The fourth driver — who was on “DUI Probation from a prior conviction” — jumped from the “driver’s seat and into the backseat when he was pulled over in an attempt to avoid suspicion,” police said.

Officers arrested the man on a DUI charge and for “violating his probation terms,” police said.

“It’s simple. Arrive alive, don’t drink and drive,” police said.
