Footage showing former New York City Mayor Eric Adams trading insults with a passenger at DFW International Airport is circulating online.
The video was posted this week on Reddit by a user who says they witnessed the exchange after a flight from New York to Texas. Adams and a masked woman are seen getting off the plane.
“Eric Adams, please punch me in the face. I would love if you punched me in the face,” the woman is heard saying.
Adams replied, “Go f— yourself.”

“Okay, you can get f—–, too, f— you,” she told him.
Adams then said, “I’m not mayor anymore. Those days are over.” The woman replied, “Thank God. I don’t have to see your ugly— face anymore.”
“You’re gonna see the Brooklyn in me,” the former mayor warned.
It is not clear what led to the heated exchange, but a spokesperson for Adams, Todd Shapiro, said in a statement to the New York Post that Adams is a “private citizen and was harassed.”
“The clip is selectively edited, lacks critical context, and misrepresents what actually occurred,” Shapiro told the outlet. He did not expand on what did happen.
It is not clear why Adams was in Texas, and he did not immediately respond to a Facebook message from The Dallas Morning News. The former mayor shared the Post story on social media platform X, writing “Exactly.”
Adams, a former New York City police captain, served one term as mayor before ending his bid for re-election last year.
