MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was behind bars in the Riley County Jail following her Wednesday arrest in connection with drug possession and trafficking contraband into a correctional facility, officials said.
The arrested woman was identified as Courtney Hoyt, 39, of Manhattan.
Officials said Hoyt was arrested around 2:36 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Colorado Street on two Riley County District Court warrants for probation violation; possession of opiate-opium-narcotic or certain stimulant; possession of drug paraphernalia; and trafficking contraband into a correctional facility.

Riley County Police officials said the arrest warrants stem from original charges of possession of methamphetamine, interference with a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana.
Hoyt was issued a total bond of $12,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail on Thursday, officials said.
