MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A body was found floating in the Harlem River on Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Officers received a 911 call for a body floating in water at around 2:43 p.m. The body was floating near FDR Drive and East 106th Street, police say.

A man was pulled from the water and taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

The man, who was not identified, was described as a male in his 30s, police said.
