PROSPECT HEIGHTS — THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM’S banner “Monet and Venice” exhibition is set to close at the end of the month, with the final date on Sunday, Feb. 1. The show features over a hundred artworks and other items, and centers around 19 of Monet’s paintings of Venice, along with complementary works from the museum’s collection and an original symphonic score by the Brooklyn Museum’s Composer in Residence, Niles Luther.
Organized with the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the show is the city’s largest Monet exhibition in 25 years.
