Noah Coughlan has already passed through more than 40 states during his Run for America, meeting people in big cities and small towns.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — For 92 days, a man from California has been running with unity in mind.
It’s called Run for America. Noah Coughlan says it’s a tribute to the American people. He’s passing through big cities and small towns, honoring the people he meets along the way.
So far, he’s run through more than 40 states.
He’s also documenting his adventure and the people he meets, asking them questions like, what does the American flag mean to you?Â
“A lot of people are coming up to me saying they really appreciate the story, but I’m putting it back on them, and I say, ‘Hey, I’ve learned a lot about your hometown,” Coughlan said.
“I’ve learned a lot about the history, and I guess my message to everybody is, we have a lot more in common than we do apart, and I’ve seen that across 42 states now over the last 15 years.”
He’s planning to finish the run in Hawaii on July 4, which also marks America’s 250th birthday.
