NEW YORK (PIX11) — A new affordable housing lottery in Brooklyn has apartments available with rent as low as $711 for qualified households.

The New York City Housing Connect lottery at Glenmore Manor Apartments in Brownsville also has 16 studio apartments available for residents 62 years and older for $560 per month.

Eligible seniors must make an average annual salary between $22,492 and $56,700.

There are 14 one-bedroom units available for any household making between $28,115 and $43,740 annually. For those making a minimum of $33,738 per year, there are 34 two-bedroom units for $840 rent.

Amenities include 24-hour security, a fitness room, a bike room and an outdoor courtyard. Transit near the complex includes the L, A, C, J, Z trains, along with the Nos. 3 and 4 trains.
