The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for their final few games at the current Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. There’s plenty for fans to get excited about — not just the remaining matchups (and hopefully some playoff games), but also the fun events celebrating the team and this farewell season.

Recently, it was announced that a brand-new Buffalo Bills Christmas movie will debut on the Hallmark Channel! Fans can’t wait to spot familiar faces from Western New York, including friends, family, and even some Bills players featured in the film. But the real scene-stealer might be one cozy Western New York village that serves as the backdrop for much of the movie.

According to several Buffalo-area media outlets, the Bills have filed an application to host a parade in East Aurora, New York, in celebration of the release of the new Hallmark Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Buffalo Bills Love Story.

Channel 7 in Buffalo, NY reported on Facebook that things are moving forward with the parade plan!

East Aurora is no stranger to big parades. When I was growing up in the village, we had the annual Toyfest Toy Town Parade, which at one time was said to be the largest parade in New York State outside of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I remember it feeling like it went on for hours!

If the Bills parade really happens, you can bet we’ll be there with our kids to see it. This could be another unforgettable moment in what’s already shaping up to be a magical farewell season for Bills fans.
