JAZ Architect is looking for a Project Architect to help in the visualization and development of local and international projects. The role focuses on the concept and design development vision for residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a team member with a high level of rendering skills and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities:
·Conceptualize and create design ideas through detailed renderings and mood boards.
·Prepare presentation documents & drawings for the conceptual and design development phases of a project.
·Develop concepts through research, selection, and specification of materials and finishes.
·Manage and develop organized drawing sets for the DD and CD phases of a project, including resolution of custom detailing and coordination with consultants and building systems.
Requirements:
·Hold a B.Arch or M.Arch degree.
·3-7 years experience in an architectural office.
·Excellent 3D modeling, visualization and graphic representation skills.
·Knowledge of construction documents and high level detailing.
·Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketchup and graphics presentation and publishing software.
·Hybrid work schedule with ability to work in the office 2-3 days per week.
This is a contract position for approx. 6-9 months of focused work on project development for ongoing current projects.
