ROME- The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Marcy is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a fraud investigation.
An investigation revealed that on June 6, 2025, a male entered the M & T Bank located in Rome, New York, and cashed a check that had been altered and forged.
Anyone with information or who may recognize the individual is asked to contact the New York State Police at (315) 366-6000.
