STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — What’s the best way to hear Bobby Bacala talk about sleeping with the fishes and supporting a youth basketball fundraiser?

Simply attend the Staten Island Mavericks Basketball Organization’s “The Sitdown Q&A Session” featuring former Sopranos star Steve Schirripa.

The Q&A will take place Jan. 31 at the Bernstein Intermediate School (I.S. 7, 1270 Huguenot Ave.) in Huguenot between 1:45-4 p.m. The event is open to people of all ages

And, to boot, the Mavericks’ fundraiser will include guest moderator and CBS Radio DJ Brooklyn’s Own Joe Causi.

Schirripa is best known for portraying mobster Bobby Baccalieri — aka Bobby Bacala — on the highly popular television series The Sopranos (1999-2009). He made his series debut during the second season. Schirripa played mob boss Tony Soprano’s brother-in-law. He starred on the show for five seasons.

Schirripa, who once lived in Dongan Hills, also performed in the Blue Bloods television series (2014-2025).
