Two more lottery players have claimed $1 million prizes from the New York Lottery’s Million Dollar Raffle, including a family from Upstate New York that split their winnings three ways.

The Jackson family of Altamont claimed one of 15 top prizes awarded in the raffle, which commemorated the Erie Canal bicentennial. Daniel Jackson purchased the winning ticket and split the $1 million with his son, James, and wife, Lisa. Each family member received a lump sum payment of $217,002 after required withholdings.

Patricia Harmon of the Bronx also claimed a $1 million prize from the same drawing. She received a lump sum payment of $612,247 after withholdings.

The Jackson family’s winning ticket was purchased at a Stewart’s Shops located at 1100 High Bridge Rd. in Schenectady. Harmon bought her ticket at Kings Gift Shop in the Bronx. Both retail locations received a $5,000 bonus for selling top prize tickets.

The promotional raffle selected 15 tickets randomly to win $1 million cash prizes. Other winning tickets were sold in Chenango, Dutchess, Genesee, New York, Queens, Suffolk and Westchester counties.
