Woman, 18, victim of sexual battery in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Riley County police are investigating a sex crime that was reported over the weekend in Manhattan.

Officers filed a report of sexual battery around 5:37 p.m. on Sunday at an undisclosed location in Manhattan.

An 18-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 21-year-old man known to the victim was listed as the suspect.

Because of the nature of the crimes reported, Riley County police officials said, no additional information will be released.
