As New York City is bracing for the expected snowstorm this weekend, the city’s Department of Transportation is taking steps to prepare.
During his midnight swearing-in ceremony on New Year’s Day, Zohran Mamdani made his very first move as mayor by appointing Mike Flynn as the city’s new transportation commissioner.
He joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to talk about how the department is prepared for the storm and more.
Flynn previously spent almost a decade at the city’s DOT in various roles, and has worked as a vice president at TYlin, a global engineering and advisory firm.
