STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — There were four reported vehicle thefts during the week of Jan. 12 through 18, according to NYPD CompStat data.

So far this year, grand larceny auto cases total 14 in 2026, compared to 10 during the same period in 2025, NYPD figures show.

Here’s a look at those incidents:

On Jan. 12 at 11 a.m., a car theft was reported at Powell Lane and Street in Huguenot. Later that day, at 11 a.m., another grand larceny auto incident occurred at Buel and Nugent avenues in Dongan Hills.

On Jan. 13 at 9 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported at Oakland and Harvest avenues in West Brighton.

On Jan. 18 at 4 a.m., a moped theft was reported at Richmond Terrace near the St. George Ferry Terminal in St. George.
