If you’re as chronically online as the rest of us (and even if you aren’t!) it would have been hard for you to miss the major Beckham family drama that unravelled earlier this week.

In a series of sobering Instagram stories, Brooklyn Beckham detailed ways in which his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, continuously belittled his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Speculative rumours about a family rift have been ongoing for some time now, but it seems Brooklyn could not go on any longer without speaking up for himself and his wife: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.”

Amid all of this, his family have stayed relatively silent, with none of them directly addressing the fallout. However, yesterday, Brooklyn’s younger sister Harper posted on her story for the first time. Whilst her Instagram profile is private, her brother Romeo reposted the story on his feed, as Harper had posted a video in support of him modelling at Paris Fashion Week, which is currently taking place.

The post states, ‘Yet again!! Another amazing show’, highlighting how proud Harper feels about Romeo’s modelling achievements. We knew Romeo would be taking part in Paris Fashion Week in some sort of capacity, as his first post on social media after Brooklyn’s statements was of himself in a taxi with an emoji of the French flag.

Of course, the whole saga in general has broken the internet. In Brooklyn’s original statements, he described Victoria ruining his first dance at his wedding. Since then, memes have spread across the web like wildfire, from AI videos of Victoria dancing, to Victoria Beckham’s single Not Such An Innocent Girl from 2001 reaching number 1 this week, it’s been quite a rollercoaster.

Only time will tell if the family will speak out further on the matter.
