Multi-car collision closes Queens Creek Road; public urged to avoid area

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Queens Creek Road near Henson Road is currently closed due to a multi-car collision. State Highway Patrol officials say that a vehicle has overturned. Two people are entrapped.

Multiple first responders are on the scene, including personnel from Onslow County Emergency Services, firefighters, the State Highway Patrol, and two ambulances. The white truck was overturned with two tow trucks on scene.

Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area as emergency crews work at the scene.
