Victoria Beckham has posted a sweet tribute to her family a little over a week after her and David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, slammed his parents in a scathing message via Instagram Stories.

“I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture,” Victoria, 51, wrote via Instagram on Monday, January 26, alongside a carousel of photos of herself and her family at the event. “I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication.”

The former Spice Girl concluded her message by writing, “Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx.”

A group shot of the family included everyone but Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.

On January 19, Brooklyn posted a lengthy message via his Instagram Stories where he bashed his parents, along with brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20.

The former model accused his mom of dancing “inappropriately on” him at his wedding to Peltz, 31, and said that he was “humiliated” by her actions.

“The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family,’” Brooklyn wrote in part. “Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.”

The following day, David broke his silence on the situation and said that children “make mistakes” and they’re “allowed to make mistakes.”
