STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — You didn’t think we’d go an entire high school basketball season without posting a brand new “Head Shots” did you?
Sure, it has been over three months since the highly popular series has appeared, but it’s back and better than ever.
Head Shots 67 features 37 more former student-athletes from Staten Island, all of which were high school basketball players.
This time, there are 13 photos in all featuring schools from across the borough. Some of the players were stars while others were role players.
Why’d we take head shot photos? Well, if a player did something extraordinary and we didn’t have a photographer at a game, we’d give them props by embedding their head shot in a story.
Some of these photos, of course, have never been seen by the general public.
