STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an individual wanted for questioning in connection with an incident of reckless endangerment that occurred in West Brighton.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 12:05 a.m., an unidentified individual discharged a firearm in front of 1210 Castleton Ave.

The individual then fled southbound on Taylor Street and no injuries were reported, police said.
According to police, the individual is described as male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
The NYPD has released surveillance photos of the sought individual.
