MINNEAPOLIS — The maniac who allegedly attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar with a mystery liquid at a Minnesota town hall meeting had hinted in a cryptic text to a neighbor that he “might get arrested” at the event.
Anthony Kazmierczak, 55, allegedly charged at the lefty congresswoman Tuesday night as she stood at the podium and sprayed a pungent liquid from a syringe on her.
The liquid was later determined to be apple cider vinegar.
Days before the chaotic town hall, Kazmierczak’s neighbor Brian Kelley recalled that Kazmierczak asked if Kelley could watch his dog when he went to see Omar speak — and hinted that something would happen at the event.

“He said, ‘I’m going to this Omar thing.’ I’m like, Omar what? He said, ‘This town hall thing.’ And he said, ‘I might get arrested,’” Kelley told The Post.
“I figured it was nonsense. He wasn’t going to do anything stupid. I said, ‘Sure, I’ll walk her.’ But then the next day he said, ‘Don’t worry about it, I’ve got it covered.’ I figured he blew that off.”
After Kazmierczak allegedly sprayed Omar, she chased him down before he was grabbed and removed from the Urban League Twin Cities facility in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Council Member LaTrisha Vetaw, who ended up being hit by some of the liquid, told The Post the stench was so bad she vomited.
“It smelled like vinegar or ammonia,” Vetaw said, adding that the odor was “overwhelming.”
“It started out smelling really like apple cider vinegar-smelly. Then it started to smell like ammonia.”
She added: “I’ve got a weak stomach, so if somebody farts the wrong way, I’m gagging.”
Kazmierczak was arrested by Minneapolis Police Department officers and booked into Hennepin County Jail for third-degree assault, according to a department spokesman.
Kelley said his neighbor has been “heavily medicated” due to a car wreck that affected his spine years ago.
The crash left him “not very physically able to do much.”

“He’s also been diagnosed with Parkinson’s,” the neighbor said, noting, “He’s only 55.”
Kelley described Kazmierczak, who shared photos supporting President Trump on Facebook, as a “pretty conservative guy” who “doesn’t like Omar.”
“He doesn’t say much about stuff, but he’ll send articles and posts about different things,” the neighbor said.

“I didn’t take him seriously. I’m surprised, but not overly surprised,” the neighbor added. “I figured when he said he was going to go to the town hall, he’d stand up and say something stupid. I can’t imagine him assaulting or spraying somebody.”
Omar asked for a napkin after she was sprayed with the liquid, which people around her said smelled terrible.

“I got sick to my stomach,” she continued. “I went outside and threw up because, like, the smell was so strong.”
Minneapolis forensic scientists responded to process the scene but a hazmat team later confirmed the syringe Kazmierczak allegedly used in the attack was filled with apple cider vinegar, Alpha News reported, citing sources.
Omar, for her part, refused medical attention and continued speaking afterward.
“I’m ok,” Omar wrote on X about an hour after the incident.
“I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work,” she continued. “I don’t let bullies win.”
