THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery of an elderly person that occurred in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery of an elderly person that occurred in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx. 

 

Police said that on Saturday, Jan. 10, at around 7.30 a.m. in front 2305 Ryer Avenue, an unidentified person shoved a 72-year-old male victim against a fence, searched his back pants pocket, and removed his wallet. “The victim’s wallet contained approximately $150, a debit card, and multiple identification cards,” police said. “The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Ryer Avenue to parts unknown. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.”

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a green ski-mask, a black jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
