Queen will never tour in the US again because it is ‘too dangerous’, says the band’s lead guitarist Brian May.
The legendary band last went on tour with singer Adam Lambert in 2023, but if they hit the road again, the US will not be on the list.
Sir Brian, 78, told the Daily Mail that while they love America, it has changed a lot since their touring days and don’t feel going back would be wise.
‘America is a dangerous place at the moment, so you have to take that into account,’ guitarist Sir Brian May told Richard Eden.
‘It’s very sad because I feel like Queen grew up in America and we love it, but it’s not what it was. Everyone is thinking twice about going there at the moment.’

Sir Brian recently revealed he would never perform at Glastonbury due to political differences with the organisers.
This will all, no doubt come as a relief to his wife, Anita Dobson, who said she had pleaded with her husband of 26 years to stop touring because ‘I want him home,’ she said.
Sir Brian is a long-time animal rights activist and founded the Save Me Trust which campaigns for the rights of foxes and badgers.
He previously resigned as the RSPCA’s vice president over the ‘appalling’ animal welfare standards in farms certified under its ‘assured’ scheme.
The band member told the Daily Mail: ‘I wouldn’t do Glastonbury next year because of the politics of the people who run it, unless that changes, I won’t do it.
‘They like killing badgers, and they think it’s for sport and that’s something I cannot support because we’ve been trying to save these badgers for years, and they are still being killed for years, so that’s the reason we’re missing out on it.’
The world-famous music festival is going through a fallow year but the founder Sir Michael Eavis, 90, who is also a dairy farmer, previously called Brian a ‘danger to farming’ and criticised him for his opposition to the badger cull, which is aimed at preventing the spread of bovine TB.
When asked if the rock band had turned it down repeatedly, the lead guitarist said: ‘I don’t think the conversation of us doing it has ever taken place because they know how I feel.’

Sir Brian and Queen drummer Roger Taylor have been touring with American Idol alum Adam Lambert since 2012 under the Queen and Adam Lambert moniker.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘I don’t know when Queen will be back on stage – it’s an unknown. We’ll take it day by day.’
Hinting at new music, Sir Brian said: ‘It was time to take a break and spend time with family, take stock.
‘But never say never about not coming back, the rebuild of Queen Two is coming back, and there are a couple of things you haven’t heard.’
