The Western New York Stormchasers have announced on social media that the European Model weather tracker thinks that there could be some snow for Halloween in New York State.
It would not be the first time that it snowed on Halloween in Western New York. Notably in 2011 and 2017 there was heavy snow across most of New York State. Depending on where in New York State you live, you might get snow way more often on Halloween than other towns.
There are some indicators of some kind of impactful storm system around Halloween acoss the Midwest and Great Lakes. But what actually happens is too far out to know. For now, we can just look at these as NOT A FORECAST but as just for entertainment purposes.

Yeah, I saw that… CPC is showing a slight heavy rainfall hazard that weekend.
Western New York Storm Chasers also added that the forecast will be more solid as we get closer, of course:
We should have a better idea of if this will actually happen by the middle to late next week.
