New York might have had a frigid weekend, but Aspen was even cooler with Moncler Grenoble taking over to celebrate the opening of its first American flagship, pairing the debut with a fall/winter 2026 show staged directly on the slopes of the Rocky Mountains. If you’re going to lean into winter, you might as well do it at altitude.
The two-day experience doubled as a tribute to the brand’s roots as far back as the 1950s. From its origins, crafting quilted sleeping bags and anoraks for mountain workers, to its legacy outfitting some of the world’s earliest and most demanding ascents. Guests made the St. Regis Aspen their base camp before spending days skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing — and nights riding snowmobiles through the forest to reach the show (so much so that the hotel felt like an extension of the show).
Set against snow-covered peaks, models walked out of the terrain onto the icy runway with classic ski silhouettes elevated by Aspen leaf motifs, hand-drawn maps, local wildlife, and subtle floral embroidery tracing collars and pockets. Hundreds of blankets wrapped guests and models including some of our favorites like Gus Kenworthy, Gigi Hadid, Penn Badgley, Kevin Costner, Aubrey Plaza, Emily Ratajkowski, and Tessa Thompson.
The newly opened Moncler Grenoble flagship extends that vision indoors. Inspired by the surrounding alpine landscape, the space blends natural materials with contemporary design, creating an immersive environment where function and craftsmanship converge. If you aren’t able to make it out to Aspen, here are all our favorite stars bundled up in Moncler at the show.
