Hundreds of demonstrators came out to the Manhattan Beach Pier and the Strand on Sunday, Feb. 1, to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in an event hosted by the organization South Bay Takes a Stand.
The demonstrators voiced their anger at the Trump administration’s immigration policies and enforcement actions, joining nationwide protests over the weekend that were spurred by the recent shooting deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis.
The marchers started at the Manhattan Beach Pier, then made their way to the Hermosa Beach Pier, and back.
