Man, 35, knifed to death in Bronx NYCHA building

A 35-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed during a fatal clash in a Bronx NYCHA apartment building early Wednesday, police said.

The victim, Miguel Batiz, was in a building on E. 229th St. near Laconia Ave., part of the Housing Authority’s Edenwald Houses, around 4 a.m. when he was attacked, cops said. Batiz lived in the building, according to police.

It was not immediately clear just where Batiz was stabbed inside the building.

Cops called to the scene found the victim stabbed multiple times throughout his body.

Batiz died at the scene.

No arrests have been made.
