STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Moviegoers planning a visit to Alamo Drafthouse Staten Island this week will need to adjust their plans, as the theater is temporarily closed due to weather-related building issues.
A sign at the theater, located at 2636 Hylan Blvd, Unit 34, in New Dorp announced the closure.
According to the sign, the closure began on Thursday and will run through Wednesday, Feb. 11, citing it is “for the safety and comfort of our guests and team.”
No additional details were provided about the specific building problems.
The sign pointed guests to nearby movie theater locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
