NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Lunar New Year is nearly here, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in New York City.

The holiday falls on Tuesday, marking the beginning of the year on the lunar calendar. It’s a 15-day celebration that will usher in the year of the horse. It’s widely celebrated in China, Korea, and Vietnam, according to the National Museum of Asian Art.
