GRAND CONCOURSE, The Bronx (WABC) — One person was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being shot at a subway platform in the Bronx on Tuesday, according to police.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. at the 170th Street subway station platform in the Grand Concourse section.

NYPD officials say first responding officers found an unidentified male with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition.

Officials say a suspect fled out of the station, wearing a blue jacket with a cream hoodie.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
