STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — One person was sent to the hospital after a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Narrows Road South in Concord on Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported at around 10:30 a.m., according to an FDNY spokesperson. The injured person was transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.

The FDNY did not provide a condition for the patient.

Video posted to Citizen showed two vehicles with significant damage, one a sedan and the other an SUV.

Both vehicles were stopped in the crosswalk and on the curb at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Narrows Road South.

By 11:45 a.m., all that remained of the crash was a mess of scattered metal and plastic parts from the two vehicles.

Larger pieces of plastic that appeared to be part of the front end of a vehicle had been pushed up against the side of the road.
