Valentine’s Day just got a little bit sweeter, with the news that Stranger Things star Maya Hawke tied the knot with her long time partner Christian Lee Hutson in New York City on the most romantic day of the year. The pair tied the knot at St. George’s Episcopal Church, in front of a star-studded crowd.

Hawke and Hutson were spotted on the streets of New York City, which means we got a lovely look at the bride’s stunning gown. she wore a white wedding dress with elegant white pointed-toe pumps, and was also seen wearing a feathered jacket over the dress to keep the New York City chill at bay. Naturally, she was seen ahead of the ceremony with her famous parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, but the celebrity sightings didn’t stop there.

The wedding doubled as an unofficial Stranger Things reunion, with Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery all in attendance.

The wedding follows a roughly one-year engagement, as far as we know, with Hutson confirming last year that the pair had become engaged. Two months later, Hawke was spotted wearing a gorgeous engagement ring on her left ring finger, leaving no room for misinterpretation. The pair first met in 2021 through their work in the music industry, though they were first spotted together much later, in 2023, and have been spotted at various industry events since. For his part, Hutson has collaborated with Phoebe Bridgers and he even supported her on her 2021 Reunion tour.

Huston and Hawke have also collaborated musically themselves, with Hutson featuring on Hawke’s 2024 album, Chaos Angel. When asked during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show about the experience of working together, Hawke had nothing but glowing things to say. “It is awesome. I mean, I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best,” she said. “They know you, and as a human being who has dated other people. They really know you as a person who has feelings … not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.”
