NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — Crews are working to rescue a person who reportedly fell down a shaft at the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge on Monday.

FDNY officials say they received a report of a person down a shaft just before 9 p.m. at the Manhattan-bound lower level of the bridge.

Crews are working to get the victim out of one of the bridge stanchions.

Citizen App video appears to show crews trying to help the person.
