“To those who continue to commit these acts of violence, I want you to know this, ” Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said Monday. “We know how to find you quickly as is evidenced by this case!!”

According to Clark, nine people, including a 17-year-old and two 16-year-olds, were indicted for their alleged roles in two mass shootings on Aug. 23 and Sept. 1 that left three people dead and seven others wounded. Another man was indicted for a related shooting on Sept. 2 that claimed the life of a 22-year-old, whose brother was shot the day before.

Prosecutors say the mass shooting that took place on Aug. 23 turned a basketball tournament at Haffen Park in Baychester into chaos, in which two people were killed, while three others who were shot sustained injuries.

“The defendants allegedly opened fire to avenage a prior incident, and others in the park fired back,” Clark said. “A total of 57 shots were fired at that basketball tournament.”

One of those who was shot in the head that day was 17-year old Anthonaya Campbell, who died of her injuries on Sept. 8 and was laid to rest over the weekend.

“Her funeral was this past Saturday,” said Clark. “The mourners were dressed beautifully to celebrate her life and the events that she will never see like her prom, her graduation.”

Clark says they linked some of the firearms to 13 other shootings, and she is urging law enforcement agencies to take action.

“The time is now for a concerted and precise effort by the NYPD and our federal partners to stem the flow of weapons into our community,” she said.

The 10 people indicted face charges including murder, attempted murder and gun possession.

The Bronx DA says they have all been arraigned and remanded.
