NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — Alternate side parking rules go back into effect on Thursday, for the first time in weeks following January’s major snowstorm.
Alternate side parking in New York City has been suspended since Jan. 26 to allow time for car owners to dig out their vehicles from the snow.
The Mamdani administration extended the suspension from Monday to Wednesday this week in observance of Presidents’ Day, the Lunar New Year, Losar, and Ash Wednesday.
Car owners will now have to move their vehicles by Thursday morning.
