Day two of the 2026 Special Olympics New York State Winter Games is underway.

Approximately 900 athletes and coaches from throughout the state will compete in seven sports, including Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Floorball, Gymnastics, Snowboarding, and Snowshoe.

The Games kicked off Friday evening with Special Olympics New York’s Opening Ceremonies at the Riverside Convention Center.

State Winter Games Sports Competitions for Saturday, Feb. 21, approximately 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., are as follows:

Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding: Swain Mountain

Snowshoe & Cross Country Skiing: Bristol Mountain Top

Figure Skating: Tim Horton’s Ice Complex

Floorball: Nazareth Golisano Training Center

Gymnastics: Town of Henrietta Recreation Center

The Closing Ceremonies & Victory Dance will take place on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Riverside Convention Center.
